Free manpower loading chart generator

Enter a start date, a finish date and your man-hours, for one activity or several. Labor Loader spreads the hours across the working days, lets you shape the ramp-up and ramp-down, split the crew by trade, and shows the workers you need on site each day and each week. No account, and nothing is saved.

Start from dates and hours

Man-hours are optional here. You can enter or change them on the next screen.

How it works

  1. Enter the dates the work runs and, if you have them, the man-hours from your estimate. Add a line for each activity if you want them loaded separately. Dates can be typed the quick way, like 3/1/26.
  2. Pick how the crew builds: straight-lined, front-loaded, back-loaded, a bell curve, or your own shape.
  3. Working days are Monday to Friday at 8 hours to start with. Change the workweek and hours per day, and add trade classifications if you need the crew broken out by trade.
  4. Read the manpower loading chart by day or by week, with the peak crew called out.

Have the GC's schedule?

Drop in the Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project PDF, pull the activities in your scope by keyword, and load each activity with its own hours. The chart is then built from the real dates and durations instead of one span.
